Mission Statement
MWA is a dedicated non-profit organization that seeks to find good homes for neglected or little used vocabulary words.
Philosophy Statement
Our modern English language has been overrun by frequently
used words that have been become so popular that many sweet and loving words are left
languishing at the bottom of old dictionaries, ignored and lonely. In order to rescue these
old friends, we’ve liberalized adoption rules so these cute little words can find their way
into the vocabularies of families worldwide.

MWA Adoption Rules
Unlike traditional word adoption agencies that require
the painful and cumbersome use of a dictionary to give meanings to new words, here at
MWA all you need to adopt a word is pick one of these three easy choices:
A. Read the adopted word and its mini-definition aloud twenty times.
B. Write the word and its mini-definition five times
C. Use the word in a conversation with a friend.
Simply by completing A,B, or C, the word is adopted. You will be responsible for loving
and caring for that word. All most new words need are lots of exercise and attention.
Your new word will then be a strong and happy addition to your vocabulary family
